Tough time for Sixers fans

There have been better days. Remember the 2001 season when we had MVP Allen Iverson dropping 52 on Vince Carter and the Toronto Raptors, Defensive player of the year with his signature finger waive after every block, hometown favorite 6th man of the year Aaron Mckie and a Hall of fame coach in Larry Brown. Those days were better. Now take a look at this atrocious group of mismash mid-level talent that has no chance of winning more than 30 games for a long time. Make no mistake in believing that team has a chance to make a turnaround like the Boston Celtics did in 2007 by acquiring Kevin Garnett and Ray "Jesus Shuttlesworth" Allen. With the disappointing performance and enormous contracts of Elton Brand and Samuel Dalembert, and complete ineptitude of the front office, it appears that we will be mired in mediocrity for many, many years.
